Excision. I liked this rather offbeat tale. It may drive others to distraction though, as the "fantasy" sequences may grate after a while. If I say the plot is more or less about a young girl's desire to become a surgeon....it's nae Gray's Anatomy though............

Thank Cthulhu.

A Trip To The Moon (1902). Watched this with the Air ST, slightly more jarring than you'ld think....was worth the wait though, and not just from a historical POV either.

Also showed mate Hobo With A Shotgun as well, which he loved.

A Trip to the Moon is fantastic. I watched it years ago on YouTube. Years ahead of its time!

Headhunters - Bloody brilliant - the most entertaining film I've seen so far this year. Good to see a thriller with a sense of its own ridiculousness - I laughed and gasped out loud on several occasions (the tractor scene was a definite highlight!) - I bet we see an American remake before long...

Babycall - Noomi Rapace was on fine form, but I found the plot a little overfamiliar, and the relentless downbeat tone got a little wearing.

Cat O' Nine Tails - Watchable, but I got bored with the mystery plot, and it felt overlong at 107 minutes. Great Morricone score though, and I loved how the killers POV scenes were executed.

The Bothersome Man - One of my favourite films of the last decade, always a pleasure to rewatch

Hell yeah! I discovered it last year thanks to Fopp who were flogging it for £3 Looking forward to seeing the main guy from it in Lillyhammer, that new drama starring Silvio from The Sopranos. Should be on BBC4 soonish . . .

That's what I get for being away from home without a telly. They'd better be saved in the Sky + box when I get home . . .

Saw it last year, great film to see on the big screen. The audience reaction p***** me off though, laughing at scenes not funny.
