The "n" word

Personally, I barely noticed it after 2 or 3 times, and I don't think there was enough the cause a stir, especially in a period piece about slavery.

I mean sure, it's a white director, but I don't know, it felt right at home in this movie.

But then again, maybe because I watch The Boondocks, in which every 2nd or 3rd word out of a characters mouth is "nigger", I just didn't notice because it felt as though there was nothing wrong with it
That's how I felt when watching it. At the end of the day, Tarantino's films always contain the "n" word shitloads of times, except this time round it's spelt with an "er" at the end instead of an "a"

And that is it right there. Thank you so very much Rik!

All the controversy and other things, they just to phrase the fact of the spelling or more pronunciation of the word.

"a" is different from "er", and "er" seems to be more traditionally used in film as a racist term, or term of the period (1800's)

The Shield was pretty much the Goggins show for a while, by far the most interesting thing in it!

As a fellow Boondocks watcher, did you not think that Sam Jackson was playing Uncle Ruckus at times?

Funny, as in The Boondocks, Samuel L Jackson voices a white man!

But yes, many times in Django, I thought Candie suddenly employed Uncle Ruckus. Damn revitaligo.

Rik, gag, you watch your steps now lads. Don't want to have to kill you, yes? I would actualy like to know what putting you off it Rik, tone? Theme's? Just boring you? Fair does. But gag, the slo-motion scenes do hold up to reason. We see everything moving in slow motion when we percieve from the side of someone who's taken slo-mo. When we cut back to dredd and Anderson, everything moves naturaly as there not high on what ever the **** is in that shit.
Fuzzy-kun gets a thumb up for the natural reaction to Judge Stallone! That was NOT a Dredd film.

I'm like Michael Jackson.... in reverse

Also, old QT gets a lot of stick for using nigger liberally and quite off the cuff, especially in Jackie Brown, but he's homaging blaxploitation films, and I'm pretty sure people don't crtiticise Jack Hill, the white director of Coffy and Foxy Brown, Jack Arnold (Boss Nigger) or Richard Fleischer (Mandingo) anymore.

the worst thing for me was Rob Schneider, every time he appeared on screen i wanted someone to dispense some "justice" on him!!

Oh, you don't know the half of it! Schneiders Fergee is nothing (as in, anyway at all) like his comic book counter part, like the rest of the cast for that matter.
