Well to be sure, there's a lot of creepy uncle action going on (a point rammed home somewhat by the charater being called Uncle Charlie

) - but I'm not sure where you got the notion the film condones those actions (assuming any incest/rape takes place, we've only seen a trailer!) . . .

Well that was a bit rude. I'm hardly starting a fight here, just that I got a distinctivly bitter taste in my mouth from watching it. Am I not entitled to an opinion on a thread where the whole point is getting your opinion across?

Monsters (2010)
Well... pretty over-rated to say the least, this so called ground breaking and critically acclaimed indie barely had enough to keep me entertained for 90 minutes and I frequently found myself browsing both the iTunes app store and imdb.com while watching - which obviously isn't a sign of great things! I appreciate what was done on very little money but jesus, what a boring story!

I'm interested that I seem to be the only one who picked up on the 'rapey uncle' aspect. I MAY be looking to far into it, but regardless, as I said. The GF want's to see it, I DO like the look of the cinematography, so it may be worth a try t least.
