The PQ was pretty bad (Synapse BD), I'm assuming this is all that's left though?
So, overall I quite liked it, but there was something not-quite-right about it, that I can't put my finger on.
With regards to Dorm that dripped blood (aka video nasty pranks) the quality is the best its ever going to get. As you point out, it was basically a student film so wasn't shot on the greatest of film stock or well preserved. I like it though and think its a pretty underrated slasher.

Also does Demons have the 'proper' audio. The Arrow release had different dialogue in it (also sound cues ect.) most noticable is when the punks have got into the cinema and get cornered by the demons. The line is supposed to be "maybe their after the coke!" and on the Arrow one is something else entirely.

'Only God Forgives' - amazing, hypnotic, bloody, violent, surreal, outstanding performances, great score.
Definite style over substance, but that's fine with me.
Worth watching for Kristin Scott Thomas's performance alone.
One of the best films I've seen for a long time.
Very highly recommended.

The Numbers Station. (2012)

A depressingly tired, largely actionless thriller starring John Cusack and Malin Ackerman as a code operator and the black ops guy assigned to protect her at the titular outpost in darkest Suffolk.

Both leads meander through this dreary affair doing their best but being hampered by a lifeless, joyless script that completely fails to engage. Too many flashbacks and soulless gazing at computer screens make you realize why, even with Cusack, this never hit our multiplex screens.

Not terrible, just dull.

Just ordered End of Watch. Thanks for the recommendation.

I trust you've seen Ben Affleck's superb The Town which is again an urban crime / cop thriller.
