Alien. An absolute timeless classic, and just pure cinema. Still movie-making at its finest even as it approaches its 40th anniversary.

Thats a bit harsh. But its definitely the weakest of the franchise... (in my opinion)

When i saw Schizoid i thought, 'i bet he loves this'. Thankfully you didn't. I personally think it's quite poor.

You'd think a golden-age slasher starring Kinski and Lloyd would be great wouldn't you? Unfortunately it's instead a rather disappointing tawdry affair.

Girls Gone Dead (2012)

Ridiculous and very gory film in which six ex-high school cheerleaders are stalked by a killer with a medieval axe during their first Spring Break from college.

Despite being extremely dumb and more in line with Club Dread than any serious slasher, i really enjoyed this. It's not for the feint hearted. It's bloody in a Hershell Gordon Lewis way and has enough T&A to make Russ Meyer blush. It also has some amazingly funny lines that give new meaning to the phrase ' Out of the mouths of babes'.

I can't recommend this but if you've ever wanted to see a piss funny gore fest featuring Linnea Quigley, Ron Jeremy, Howard Stern's midget and Nicko Mcbrain, which is populated by gorgeous girls and references far better films than this will ever be, then check it out. Just don't blame me!

Especially when you consider the director too.

Well, Savage Weekend is pretty good but nothing overly amazing either.
