There is a fair bit of Vinegar Syndrome stuff on there that looks great given how obscure some of the films are but yeah, some stuff is tenth generation VHS bootleg quality.

Cold Prey 2006

Five friends on a snowboarding trip take refuge in a abandoned hotel when one of their group brakes his leg and realise they are not alone.

This is a fairyly decent horror from Norway, it has a good solid story to it with a twist, it might be compared to Jason Vorhees and Michael Myers on snowy Hills.

The atmosphere in a dark gloomy, sinister dim lit hotel is to be expected where teens try to hide and fail, it's almost like playing hide and seek but failing badly. The actors in this are brilliant compared to other teen slasher horror movies, this is one to watch and not mind the subtitles. 9 out 10.

That's a film I really rate, and it has a surprisingly good sequel – have you seen it?

Neither did I! Okay, I'm off to do some research and possibly buy it!

I must be one of the few who really didn't rate Cold Prey. I've never bothered with the sequel.

I thought the first film great and the sequel a cliched mess.
