Oh my God! I remember it being bad when I saw it in the 80s, but I thought I would give it another chance. Ultra lame directing, incredibly bad creature (I cannot believe the late great Stan put his moniker on this tripe!).

Instantly forgettable, but unforgettable for all the wrong reasons, if you get my gist.

Yeuch!

Hahaha! A few months back I watched this, Deep Rising and Deep Star Six in one day. Tremendous fun!

I've recently been catching up with several Sci-Fi Channel and the like Creature Features. I heartily enjoyed Vipers and Ice Spiders (which is awful but ace!) and thought In The Spider's Web was very amusing indeed. Was very disappointed by The Asylum's Mega Piranha though which tried hard but was just bad rather than Kitsch.

I also saw current big screen release Monsters, which is probably the worst film of 2010, sadly.

I quite like Deep Rising .. but I also remember Deep Star Six being another poor underwater monster movie during the 80s slew. I will try to dare myself to check it out again soon ... but with the lights on of course! I do remember the daft lobster/crab monster though and the terrible blue screen F/X at the end.

Just watched Nightmare City... hahaha what a gem! The acting is terrible, the sfx is even worse and that ending! But it's so much fun! Great film.

Haha, yes! The whole scene in the fair is brilliant. When he runs out of ammo and throws the gun at the zombies!

That's probably the highlight of the most memorable thing about Nightmare City as it is a film that pales in comparison to the truly great zombie/undead films. Speaking of which, I've just watched Zombi 2 which is still fantastic and look forward to buying the Blu-ray when it's released.

Nightmare City pales in comparison to alot of things - but it is MORE fun than most of them!!

Speaking of which, I watched Raiders of Atlantis last night. A really funny Deodato peice of cheesy post-apoc goodness.

Also watched The Black Room, a weird 80's no budgeter.

That was actually one of the qualities of the film, that song. good track.

Watched the last house on the left remake last night too, enjoyed it, but no where near as good as the original. The microwave thing in the end was stupid too.
