I watched Offspring due to it being mentioned the other day! Superior cannibal flick, really gets the mood of Ketcham's writing up on the screen. Was very impressed. |

watched The Runaways tonight and it was bloody brilliant, absolutely stunning film with a brilliant soundtrack and an insane performance from Dakota Fanning. If you have any interest in 70s rock and or roll, seriously check this out, even the emo girl from Twilight is good in it.

Watched Forbidden Planet today on the sort-of-big-screen. It's brilliant and a real masterpiece of sci-fi. Mind you Robby's line 'I was giving myself an oil job' certainly raised a few eyebrows, skipper. Every time I see this though, I can't get Amazon Women On The Moon out of my head!

Just watched Missing the south korean "torture porn" flick while its not that graphic it did have a better story then most TP flicks. Overall it was alright, good if you got 90 min to spare but nothing great. |

What films have you seen recently?
BRUISER - though not one of his best, a good film from George A Romero, about a man losing his identity and taking revenge I, VAMPIRI - Bava took over from Freda and directed the first Italian horror, nothing to do with vampires! THE CONVENT - a fun and gory horror, the UKR2 is although full frame and no extras, it's uncut, unlike the R1 |

Watched Ninja Assassin last night(sky+). This is a film I have been thinking about getting for a while but wasn't sure if it was any good. Got a lot of mixed reviews so didn't risk it. Without doubt this is the greatest Ninja movie I have ever watched. For me the best part of a Ninja movie is the ninjas and they are top notch. The plot was very light some reviews saw this as a negative but who cares, the 'plot' gaps gave me a couple of minutes rest inbetween each awesome fight sequence. Also this is one of the only movies that the cgi blood and gore suits as it matches the computer game like action. I am buying this on BD today |
