The same goes for Spielberg's War of the Worlds, a film where I actually had a little doze on the second viewing!

Just seen In Their Sleep

Really disapointed, after the glut of quality French horror in the last few years i found this predictable, a generic run of the mill affair.

It was as if the writers had seen Deadly Strangers, and thought "Here's our main plot guys, lets work with this"

Watched Carnosaurus III: Primal Species last night. Never seen a film of this series before, and after the utter mess that was Primal Species, I can't wait to see the others! So bad, terrible dialogue, rubbish acting, and a plot as dodgy as the dinos. Mind you, I dont think this deserves the bad reputation it's receieved (it was, and may still be, on IMDb's bottom 50 films ever) - it was a heck of a lotta fun, the effects weren't THAT bad and to see a velicoraptor decapitate someone with it's jaws is simply awesome! I liked it anyways - good, stupid fun.
nekromantik likes this.

Watched the Grindhouse DVD of The Beyond. In the past I've always found Fulci's film overrated, but today, for some reason, I really enjoyed it.Perhaps the film is growing on me.I'm still not interested in picking up a BD release at the moment though.

Sounds like my kind of film -- I'm really into 'so bad they're good' movies. I'll have to check that one out!

Explosions, dinosaurs, gore and utter crapness! What more could you possibly want in a film?

Definetly check it out, Nos - if you can find it really, really, REALLY REALLY REALLY cheap (like really cheap).
