With all due respect, Mr Fury, I also have to question your sanity!

I have NEVER seen a Farrelly Brothers film that was even remotely funny.

Dumb And Dumber is one of the worst films I have ever tried to sit through. I turned it off before the end it was so crap.

If I had to be nice about them, I would say that Kingpin is fairly well made. But still not funny.

They are awful and their films are awful.

In my opinion, obviously! (Added as it sounded like I was proper on one, when I wasn't really! )

Both brilliant. I have never seen a Lucky McKee film I have not rated extremely highly. I am not sure there are many better horror specialist directors in America today. None come immediately to mind anyhow!

I recorded The Woods last night on Channel 5. I've only seen The Woman but already have high hopes on the basis of that

Ti West maybe?

The Woman was my definite lowlight of Fright Fest last year . . .

Since I seem to inadvertedly caused a shitstorm ahem, look there is NO sperm or puke in this film. just lots of cartoon vio-lence, interesting to here it's been cut (as I may have seen the full version)

I quite like Kingpin.

Not in the same league! I have seen two of his films, one was absolute rubbish and the other was just about OK.

I think The Woman is just about the finest work of American horror cinema in many years.

Ti West is definitely one to watch. That said, I thought The Woman was a fantastically scary and chilling film

heh. I found The Woman monotonous in the extreme, with a truly awful indie soundtrack that seemed to boom over endless montage sequences. Really poorly directed I thought. Everyone I watched it with hated it too, though it seems to have picked up significant positive buzz since . . .

Yeah, thinking about it, I may have downplayed the good points!
