First time I've seen it enjoyed might not be carpenters best but still a lot better than a lot of films. Surprised by how much I enjoyed shadow builder , never read the book so can't say how close the film is to it

Battle Beyond The Stars (1980)

The Magnificent Seven in outer space !

I saw this at the cinema when it was released. The sight of Sybil Danning made quite an impression on this young lad.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

Kevin Smith Project session 5

Jay: What the **** is the Internet?
Holden: The Internet is a communication tool used the world over where people can come together to bitch about movies and share pornography with one another.

Well I enjoyed that a hell of a lot more than I was expecting, yes it's childish, the in jokes come so thick and fast it borders on tedium, but some how it miraculously stays fun and damn funny.

Coming back to this film after 10 years blew me away, I love how manic it is, I love all the cameos, I love all the visual gags and in jokes, I loved the soundtrack. It's not perfect, far from it in fact, but damn it's good.
