Seeing as I just failed to purchase the Blu Ray, I think I'll record it tonight off Film4 then fast forward through the ads . . .

If its any good i'll pick it up on disc as it has a lot of extras.

I'm not expecting much to be honest - four blokes on drugs - sounds really interesting. The twist will be they aren't from the civil wars just idiots on a battle re-enactment.

Those are fairly high standards. I've read that review as well. (I think i'm the only one on here who is still subscribed to Empire.)

Probably. I don't think I've bought a copy of it since Uni (7 years ago ). Sight & Sound was my only magazine subscription, and cancelled that at the start of the year when the price leapt up . . .

It was a gift actually. I haven't paid for a copy in years.The person that bought the subscription has kept it going for four years.

Once you get away from the ten page ads for the latest superhero film there are some decent articles and interviews usually towards the back of the mag.

The best film mag i ever read was Uncut DVD, which lasted for a measly four issues.
