This was awesome. Infact i shall do a full review of this in Pedro's Movie Review Corner with in the near future.......Highly recommended.

Just finished watching Demonic toys for the millionth time. From the classic period of Fullmoon this one (early 90's).Some good effects, one incredible pair of hooters (honk honk ) and Tracy Scoggins running about in a vest (unfortunately not her hooters I should mention ) An evil jack-in-the-box,a toy bear that likes biting chunks out of people and a doll that swears like a trooper. What more could u ask for? I have it as part of the Dollman/Demonic toys boxset.Dollman will be next to go in the dvd player

just watched THE FINAL DESTINATION, while not being the longest film ever made (78 mins i think) and not the most original of film, this one had some serious badass kills, really f'ed up ones. If there's nowt else on tv and you have 78 minutes to spare, i recommend checking it out.

On another note, i watched 1990: THE BRONX WARRIORS this morning, and i really enjoyed it, id never seen it before. The only problem i had with it was Mark Gregory possibly Cinema's least threatening Biker. When he walked he minced. Fred'the Hammer'Williamson was pretty badass though. Ive read that it's a cross between Mad Max and the Warriors, but i would say it was more Esacpe from New york and the warriors, very entertaining indeed. in my opinion Castelleri is possibly the most Competant and talented of the Italian directors from that era, although i love Fulci, Margeretti and Argento, i just like how he films his movies...

Castellari is an excellent director. His spag western Keoma is superb!(well aside from the dreadful score)

Just watched:

ORGASMOD'AMATO.jpg

Had to watch it in italian becase dvd had no subs (well it did have german subs), but from what i could make out, Mark Shannon is having penis trouble, which is causing him some discomfort, and in 15 days will have a operation/transplant/removal or something. So he decides to go to the carribean and have sex with as many women as he can. Also he is tortured by visions of his dead (?) wife/girlfriend having it off with a couple of black guys and at the end *SPOILER* decides to ease his pain by cutting his knob off.

A typical Joe D'amto carribean sex fest with lots of XXX action between ugly people, dull lighting and a funky score but sadly no zombies this time. Dig that disco song; ' Sexy, sexy night, she's the lady of the sexy night'

"Daimajin" - 1966 Japanese monster film about a giant stone God with the spirit of a warrior trapped inside who awakens and goes on a bloody rampage when he is angered by the injustices bestowed upon his village by its new evil Lord. Unlike the majority of Japanese giant monster films this is a period piece that spends the first two thirds setting the scene and also, unlike most Japanese giant monster films from this period, this is played deadly serious without the slightest trace of campness or humour. The effects have stood the test of time well too.

I watched "The Muppets Christmas Carol" on Sky a few days ago and honestly think it's a much better film than the recent Jim Carrey one.

Oh, The Muppet's Christmas Carol is great! I haven't seen the new Jim Carey one but the trailer looks pretty crap. How many more times is this story going to be made? There will ever only be ONE definitive version of The Christmas Carol - and that's the Muppet's version!!!!!!
