Definitely one of the more famous Video Nasties out there and it is a good film with David Hess showing why he is fantastic at playing a sadistic psychopath. It's a shame, he didn't get more prominent rolls. He also believed he had something to do with the soundtrack also. There is also a small role for Martin Kove as a Sherriff's Deputy. As The law enforcement were made to look like bumbling fools, I wonder if that was to add some levity to what is a very nasty film?

Monty Python's: Life Of Brian

The famous British Comedy group's take on Religion and the Roman Empire. This is the 1st time, I've seen a Monty Python product and whilst it has some funny bits in it, some of it wasn't. I found Bryan's Mother to be unfunny.

The Last King Of Scotland

Forest Whitiker was awesome as Idi Amin, the self declared President of Uganda. His portrayal of someone who can be polite and charming to suddenly becoming increasingly un-rational should be studied by Acting Students. James McAvoy also plays his role well too.
First time you've seen a Monty pythons film... wow.
Life of Brian is amongst one of my all time favourite films, I went pics not long ago to watch on big screen.

JURRASIC WORLD FALLEN KINGDOM (2018)

Well, I made it through to the end. That was awful.
I did not like the first Jurassic World but thought I would give this one a chance.
Terrible script and Chris Pratt looking miserable as hell. Not surprising.
Another film I will never ever see again.

He's NOT the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!

Life of Brian was one of the many films that my best chum in school and I could recite verbatim (talk about lessons in Latin lol) to each other and we would be in stitches

The Darkness (2016)

I probably wouldn't have picked this up had i known it was a Blumhouse production because, unfortunately, this is the same watered down piss they constantly churn out.

What made it marginally more watchable than their usual crap was a decent cast - Kevin Bacon, Radha Mitchell and the annoying as ever David Mazouz (Perfect for his role as the possessed brat) - and Greg McLean's direction which managed to maintain a modicum of suspense and interest in what is in all truth a very slight script which is uneventful until the last five minutes horror wise, and we basically get by on Bacon and Mitchell's family squabbles. I'm not even going to go into the way the film looks at autism, bulimia and alcoholism because it simply isn't worth it.

Worst of all it felt a wasted opportunity as there were seeds of a decent movie here with it's story of demons trapped in rocks at the Grand Canyon by the Anasazi. When unlikable oaf Mazouz finds the rocks he takes them home and throughout the course of 90 minutes aside from dirty hand prints on walls not an awful lot happens. The fact said demons were never seen until the final seconds was poor film making as they looked pretty good monsters.

One of those movies where handled by horror lovers rather than merely a production company trying to make cash on the cheap, this could have been something. As it is we have a diluted Blumhouse sort of remake of the vastly superior Mexican movie Here Comes the Devil (2012)

I had to look him up, I've never seen Gotham (keep meaning to though!) so I didn't know who he was. Is he really that annoying as Bruce Wayne?

Kind of, yes. He's good but annoying if that makes any sense whatsoever. The fact he comes across like a brat half the time and under the influence the other half really doesn't help. I'm talking about Gotham here, not The Darkness.

Gotham was excellent though. Bruce was simply a character in it. It's more about Jim Gordon than it is Bruce. I highly recommend it. Far better than any of D.C. or Marvel's cinematic outings. Dark in tone, brutal and fantastic villains.

I caught a bit of BH's Benji remake. it starts off in very grim territory (pre credits) then magically becomes, er, Benji FFS
I hate them.

Jesus Shows You The Way To The Highway (2019, Miguel Llanso)

Retroactively this is now my film of last year . To describe it would be churlish. I laughed and laughed. Recommended (especially to fans of GM's Darkplace!!!) a lotly. He made a thing called Crumbs also, which I am now going to spend the rest of this year finding

PS this film is in no way RELIGIOUS btw hahahahaha. ahem. REWATCH!!!

Carry on Loving. 1970.

The Wedded-Bliss computerized dating agency tries to set up singletons with disastrous results and laughter.

Only the carry on team can try and themselves look daft and funny at the same time, regulars Sid and Hattie play the couple who set up single people by a computer on one side and have a letterbox on the back to post the results. Kenneth Williams plays the couple doctor who has no idea about relationships and how they work, Bernie as the jealous wrestler Grippler and Joan as his girlfriend. Charles stars as the private detective who doesn't seem to have much screen time and Terry Scott who seems to be getting stopped when he is with a girl.

This one i have only seen a few times unlike the other Carry On's and seems to have the laughs coming in far gaps, Sid seems to have more one liners than the other cast members have and even after laughing you forget why you laughed, but at least i have found out a way to start a food fight at a wedding.
