The Nun was passable, in that it didn't annoy me as much as AC did. Have you ever seen An Enfield Haunting t? This is the one that they stole for the second Conjuring (cough). TV 3 parter ahem.

No but had a quick look about it , it's got Timothy Spall whose always good. So will keep an eye out for it.

I'm tempted to get Malignant after seeing it mentioned in this thread.

Are the Ouija films anygood?

isn't that The Uninvited not Unborn.

The Uninvited isn't bad really, despite ATOTS being one of my fave Korean films however i thought Unborn was dross.

Deathwatch. 2002.

During WWI, nine British soldiers caught behind enemy lines take refuge in a captured German trench with a German P.O.W. soldier who warns them that there is evil there.

This was probably done on a small/medium budget but certainly pays off and well acted, Andy Serkis seems to be ready for battle with anyone and willing to apply a little torture on screen. It does show the horror of going into a no man's land and expect the unexpected but they don't expect it to be haunted. The tone of the film at the starts sees the British in their trench getting ready to attack while bombs are going off and Jamie Bell going from a wimp to a man during the film. It does have great cinematography, good haunting background score and good effects with the barb wire moment.

Up next Gothika.

The Amityville Haunting

This is just as awful as I hoped
The father is a "military type" IE paranoid and blinkered to the reality of his situation, we also get the annoying male child "narrating" and the youngest bairn has an "imaginary friend".
Can't wait to see how this plays out.

To be honest there's so many generic Hollywood horror films with even more so generic titles that it's easy to...well they all blend into one don't they.

It's only because i quite enjoyed The Uninvited that i spotted your error.

Me, i can't tell the difference between all these Nuns, Conjuring's and Sinister's. They are all the same.

Indeed. This is why with my last few posts I'm trying to stay away from La La Land as much.
