The 88 Films Thread

When discussing whether the Absurd announcement culd be an April Fools joke some on the Facebook page stated this couldnt be as it was posted after 12pm

88 films answered this post by replying that the announcement had actually been posted up at 11.59.

Let's hope this doesn't turn out to be an April fool as there would likely be a lot of pissed off collectors out there.

Anyway if it's real, I'll certainly be picking this one up

I've never seen it, i just remember Pete posting some interesting grabs from it ages ago and saying how it was badly butchered in one release version from Shriek Show but not the other.

Yeah, I remember those too.

I've seen it but don't own it so a nice new release would be an essential purchase for me.

I think people would probably still buy it though whether through ignorance, or depending on which company released it (naming no names ) to complete a 'collection' or spine builder etc.

I certainly wouldn't buy a cut version of it though, however there are some films I do own which are cut.

The uncut release had "Uncut Release" actually written on the cover, the cut version didn't. The scene in question is a floating poker up a lady's love tunnel and out her mouth, which although sleazy, is not as graphic as you are probably envisioning...... or not!

I have the uncut version but would defo upgrade to Blu on this. Good shout!
