Does anyone know if the upcoming Nosferatu Blu-Ray Steelbook will come with a booklet? I love it when they include a booklet!

It's meant to have a 56 page booklet, but I'm not sure if that's just the regular edition or the steelbook
  • Brand new high - definition restoration by Friedrich - Wilhelm - Murnau - Stiftung
  • Two audio commentaries: one newly recorded by film historian David Kalat; the second by historian R. Dixon Smith and critic Brad Stevens
  • The Language of Shadows, a 53 - minute documentary on Murnau's early years and the filming of Nosferatu
  • New video interview with BFI Film Classics Nosferatu author Kevin Jackson
  • Newly translated English subtitles with original German intertitles
  • PLUS: a 56 - page booklet featuring writings and rare imagery

Thanks a lot, Rik. I've noticed a lot of Blu-Ray's I buy DON'T have booklets with them, so I was just wondering if MOC put booklets in with their Blu-Ray's.

I don't have any myself, this will be my first one, but as far as I know they always contain a decent sized booklet

Their Blus definitely come with booklets Marc. To call them booklets is doing them a disservice I think, they're far better than that, content and design wise, and I think MOC take them as seriously as producing a great extra (or supplements as I'm getting used to calling extras for connoisseur labels like MOC, Criterion and Arrow etc...)

Trailers, are extras. Video features, interviews, documentaries, sound tracks and books as seen in MOC, Criterion and Arrow are something else. They are works of art.

Which films would you like to see MOC release on DVD/Blu-Ray?

I'd like to see:

Napoleon
Phantom Carriage
Cabiria
Nanook of the North.

The MOC DVD of Nosferatu has an 80 page booklet - so will the blu be the same book just cut down in size?
