I finished The Deadly Assassin last night once again but the first time on Blu-ray. What a terrific and original story it was for the time. Very strange having the Doctor companion less until he hooks up with Engin and Spandrel in part two. The scenes in the Matrix still unnerve although not as much as they did when i first saw them as a child - terrified me they did and the Master is just pure seething evil. Each episode moves the story along and each episode remains thoroughly gripping with zero filler. |
