Yes - Silver Nemesis is a classic, isn't it That photo you've uploaded says it all really.

Thought last night's episode was great.

I also really enjoyed The Rebel Flesh. It almost seemed like a throwback to the classic series, as the episode had time to breathe, introduce some characters, explain what was happening then build up suspense, with a few horror moments thrown in.

I wasn't too keen on The Doctors Wife, for the opposite reasons. The opening twenty minutes felt rushed and i neither liked nor cared about the people on the asteroid. It did improve though, and ended with some well written scenes between the Doctor and his sexy TARDIS.

It hasn't felt like a series to me, its more like the Tennant specials from a couple of years ago. Probably because of the 7 episodes so far only two have been stand alone stories the other five have been quite heavily linked.

Can't really not like lesbian Silurians though.

You are mistaken, thehamish. The story you are thinking of is 'The Moonbase', a 1967 adventure with Patrick Troughton as the Doctor, where nail varnish remover is used to destroy the Cybermen because it disolves the plastic on their chest units
