Nothing special - it's from 'The Faceless Ones', and it's an original B/W still and a colourised one

I wondered if it was a hint The Faceless Ones was being colourised, animated or something.

The colour picture was part of an on-line quiz thing - 'where is this from?' - and I just thought I would put it here to see if anyone recognised it

The B/W pic was just a way for me to know that I had guessed the correct story from whence it came!

I also thought it was interesting to compare the two, and to wonder (to myself) if the BBC could get away with the colour version today, or whether it would be considered 'too scary' to have in a modern 'Doctor Who'

The black and white looks more effective in my opinion.

Those things from Sleep No More are slightly similar to the Chameleons in looks. Mouth aside of course.

Pardon the pun, but when I have watched this story, I've always fallen asleep before I get to see what they properly look like!

There are rumours swirling that a couple of Hartnells have been found (though I'm not sure if it's episodes or full stories). Apparently it's from someone with a good track record (got it right about Web/Enemy).
There does seem to be something bubbling about a Hartnell find at the moment.

Which episodes?

Happy New Year, Ian.

Happy New Year!

They're not saying. I've heard others suggest Galaxy 4 or some other season 3 stories but the main source isn't saying.

Cant really blame them as that's now were it gets the bulk of its ratings, why should it matter if they get an american or another none British actor, as long as they do a good job. Its the same when american moan that superheroes should be played by Americans. For me the actors nationality has little to do with the role especially if they do a good job.
