"Summary
New series. Peter Capaldi's eccentric, era-hopping Time Lord returns in what looks set to be his final series. However, before he hands over the key to the Tardis to his as-yet-undecided successor, there's the matter of the girl with a star in her eye to deal with. A chance encounter brings Bill Potts into contact with the Doctor, who is conducting a secret mission on Earth. What follows is a terrifying chase across time and space, one that opens Bill's mind to the prospect of a bigger and wider universe than she'd ever imagined. Pearl Mackie mades her debut Doctor Who appearance as new companion Bill, while Matt Lucas also stars as the Doctor's old ally Nardole."

Also, apparently there is going to be a BIG spoiler in the 'next episode' trailer that is broadcast at the end of part 1. General consensus on FB seems to be that it is EITHER the return of Susan OR the return of The Weeping Angels
The new Doctor Who magazine has just dropped through the letterbox.

The first three episodes sound really good especially the third one set in Victorian London. The second one not so much but with what you've said above Susan it's very intriguing. The Pilot isn't a Dalek story i don't think. Even though there's a Dalek in it. Could be wrong though.

It does say you have to keep on smiling to the emojibots or you die. It does sound sort of similar to the Angels. Keep on smiling, keep looking, you get what i mean. Wish i'd watched Class now in case it gave some secret away regarding what the Angels can do.

I don't think i've watched any of the special features on the Edge of Destruction disc. A telesnapped Marco Polo i would have remembered.

Guess what i'll be doing tonight?

Or 'The Happiness Patrol' - you have to be happy, or else we will kill you

Why do i get the feeling the trailer at the end of The Pilot which is a full series trailer not an episode 2 one, will show David Bradley as the first Doctor or Sean Pertwee as the third as the big spoiler.

In costume Sean (above) looks just like his dad doesn't he?
Mojo and nosferatu42 like this.
