Rare colour picture taken during the filming of 'The Smugglers'

Interesting to note that, unless it a very realistic looking set, this was filmed on an actual boat, which I don't think has ever been acknowledged before

Vikings Attack in The Time Meddler (1965)



I rewatched The Time Meddler last night.

Such a superb performance by William Hartnell, especially in the first episode (Not so impressive in the second ). The Doctor absolutely adores Vicki who is so much more than a replacement for Susan, she's also so much better. The way the two interact is lovely. As for the first Doctor, well he's a sexist pig - no he's not Moffat you dick! - He's the Doctor i'd most like to travel around with.
