I'm not sure how, but I haven't seen any episodes of Black Mirror, but have been tempted to watch it on Netflix because I really like other things that Charlie Brooker has done. Is it topical satire and now a bit dated?

No, some moments are eerily reflective, but it's more to do with technology and its rapid advancement

That's good – I'll give it a go soon.

Some months ago I watched Nathan Barley for the first time in years and was amazed at how prescient it was. When I saw it for the first time, it seemed both really topical and weird, but I don't think I probably got the commentary on journalism and media, which seems to have come full circle, with life imitating art!

I've only seen the first couple of seasons, but thought it was really good. It's another show – there are far too many – I want to watch from the beginning to its finale.

It's certainly less user-friendly than The Day Today and Brass Eye, but probably more approachable than Jam.
