Finished season 7 of games of thrones. Excellent stuff, its going to be a long 12 month's.

Continuing with season 3 of star trek TNG.

Noticed a show called Brooklyn 99 anyone seen it?

It's pretty funny, I reckon you'll enjoy it. 3 seasons on Netflix I think, 4th came out on DVD today actually.

The seventh season was much more CGI-heavy than any of the others and, if they are going to be making a season of 80-90 minute episodes with huge CGI armies, fleets and dragons, it is common sense that they will take much longer to make than the episodes in the first couple of seasons.

Plus with winter arriving in Westeros, they need to wait for appropriate weather before filming starts, which is why this season aired later than normal

That will especially be a feature of filming if, like with Beyond The Wall, they want to do location shooting on Icelandic glaciers!
