Magnum PI: J "Digger" Doyle. Magnum and co have to prepare the estate for a possible attack when it seems the famous novelist who owns it, Robin Masters (voiced by Orson Welles!), is being targeted - and could be on the way. This is a really good episode, albeit one that rather seems to contradict apparent later assertions that strongly imply that Robin doesn't actually exist and is actually... er... Higgins.

It's a good series. Some breathtaking scenery and Palin is as wonderful as always despite being on the brink of collapse (seriously) from altitude sickness.

Having now seen Himalaya, Pole to Pole, Sahara, Hemingway Adventure, Full Circle and Round the World in 80 Days, it strikes me how not very famous Monty Python actually were. I thought they were a cult worldwide phenomenon but aside from a lovely Japanese super fan and Terry Jones in LA. Nobody seems to have heard of Palin.

Then again i guess many places are rather out of the way and none of them probably know what a television is either.

Oh and football is popular everywhere. Absolutely everywhere.
