Hope Davis is brilliant in everything – I've never seen a film of hers where she isn't one of the standout actors.

Been catching up on some tv ...

From. More intrigue, but finally some hope? This has better traction, but I still fear how this series will end, which should tell me what I want to know about what's to come ...

Silo. This looks now like a 10 parter, as developments are coming thick and fast with these last two episodes. Lawdy.

Black Mirror.
Enjoying the ones that I've seen except the 3rd, which just seemed a bit underwhelming after all was said and done ahem.

Black Mirror (last 2)

Both of these were more like it. Especially the 5th, which was a cheeky wee thing indeed.

True_Detective_Season_2_poster.jpg

Ather talking about True Detective yesterday I started season 2 last night. So far I have to admit I was a little confused as to what was going on during the first episode but it's started to come together during the second episode. I adore the way it's shot the atmosphere is very unnerving and the acting is spot on especially Colin Farrell who is a mighty fine actor in my eyes. I'll get two more episodes tonight not as good as season one but I'm very intrigued to see where it's going. Maybe it's just me but it has a feeling of David Lynch.

Get a job as a security guard and work in a empty building for night shift, then you will have plenty of time to watch stuff...according to Dem who knows someone in the job.

Am finally watching this Back, that Mitchell & Webb thing from a wee while ago.
Am liking it so far, one particular moment standing right up there with Peep Show at it's "worst" ahem
It makes a nice change from the slightly more seriously toned things I've been watching ....

Black mirror,
I found this series slightly different and more along lines of the horror genre than normal, killers demons etc, I enjoyed lock Henry and found it better than vast majority of horrors these days, would have been great as a full length feature, only one I wasn’t keen on was Joan is awful, but found Hazey days a kinda typical potrayal of paparazzi.
I didn’t mind beyond the sea but I’d have changed the ending slightly, won’t say why etc or what to seen as ppl might not have seen it yet since it only dropped a week ago.
