Really good film! I watched this two days ago. I have a VERY high tolerance for violence in films. I can watch decapitations, disembowelments, blood & guts everywhere and none of it really bothers me. The violence in this film made cover my eyes and shudder! Very good, though . (Copied directly from my FB )

Again on the subject of film violence (what the fu k is happening to me? When did I become such a pussy?) I've recently watched The Bourne Identity for the first time, which is very good! Quite violent for a 12A cert.

Dude, you're getting older, losing your edge, it happens to a lot of us. Happened to me ages ago... Human Centipede II, Life and Death of a Porno Gang, Serbian Film, I'll never watch 'em ! Instead I'll be knitting jumpers with Suspiria on in the background...

Only seen it once, bought it from CEX a couple of years ago for 75p, seem to remember it being a bit slow going until the climax

Time to get your edge back Wes. LADOAPG is fantastic, truly transgressive in nature rather than shock for shocks sake and very funny.

I know... and I lost it with Irreversible, a film so unrelentingly grim and depressing it turned me off to that kind of Extreme Cinema. I actually felt sick to my stomach watching that film - something I thought would not, could not happen to me, but I think life's bleak and unpleasant enough as it is without this kind of thing... I know... fetch me my slippers and all that but...

Completely agree about Irreversible, a lad at college lent me it, this is roughly how the conversation went one day while in the smoking shelter:
Tom: You're into sick, weird films right?
Me: Kind of, depends what you call sick
Tom: I've got a proper ****ed up film called Irreversible, you heard of it?
Me: Yeah, not really my thing, bit too extreme for me
Tom: I'll lend you it, see what you think

Me (a few days later when returning his DVD): Don't speak to me again!

Maybe you need to reframe how you watch extreme films or from the sounds of it, how you view the world! I'm sure Ron will lend you some Bubble Gum pop cds to brighten your mood.
