A fantastic film full of suspense and plenty of just downright eerie atmosphere. This is a really solid film with some great acting. I have a big fear of being buried alive so those parts of the film had my palms sweating like crazy. Highly recommended if you have not seen it you will not be sorry. Well most of you wont be sorry

Not much to say really its not a bad film but its not a great film . Some great action but it just felt like something was missing. Maybe on a second viewing in the future what was missing might be there.

I did not enjoy this there was no atmosphere it was just dragged out until the really really dull ending. I could not stand the main characters mainly the female lead she was just plain annoying. An hour and forty minutes ill never get back.

[QUOTE=Demdike@Cult Labs;370658]Glory is an American civil war epic. Broderick leads the first all black regiment into battle. Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington are also in it.

Er not quite all black, it's still got some white bloke giving the orders.

Election is a razor sharp black comedy about a teacher, a pupil (Reese Witherspoon) and the forthcoming student election. Both Broderick and Witherspoon are outstanding.
Its been many years since i have seen Glory but i know i taught it was a great film back then i must give it a re watch sometime.

I really liked 'Serpent' up until the final scene, then i think it lost a lot of credibility with an over the top finale. Its based on a real story of a bloke looking into the roots of voodoo. Wade Davis i think, or did i just make that up ?

I loved it when I saw it at the cinema and continues to impress with every subsequent viewing on BD. Maybe it's a Marmite film?

The officer isn't part of a regiment, he's the officer, there's a difference.

Reservoir Dogs by Quentin Tarantino on Ch5.

I really like the film and will watch it again and again, but is it me but it seems it's dated badly compared to Pulp or even Jackie Brown. Mind you it is 21 years old
