He really comes off as bitter and childish man not the first time he's said something like that.

lol I don't see anything of either in him saying that. The thing was his creation, I don't see anything strange about him having mixed feelings regarding others playing with it.

The closest I can relate to it is 15 years ago watching my old band play a huge gig (that I helped organise before I got sacked) and the guy who replaced me was playing the guitar parts I wrote for the songs, wrong too!

Not quite the same though - nobody fired Lucas, he gave up the rights himself. I can still see why he would feel weird about it though.

Either way, despite his failings as a director/writer when it came to the prequels, he still gave us one of the best, if not THE best film sagas of all time

...but they are a bit shit really, not saying that is a bad thing but slightly naff in a good way.
