I don't think I've ever seen it!

A lot of those '90s action vehicles seem to blend together though (at least for me) so I could have.

Wasn't sure where to ask this, is there a thread anywhere for Renown Pictures? Couldn't find one.

The Firm (2009, Nick Love)
A charmingly tender love story disguised as a nominal remake of the Alan Clarke play. Honestly...not since Goodbye Charlie Bright have I witnessed such devotion.

Get Carter (1971, Mike Hodges)
Shows Guy Ritchie up for the wannabe he was. A great film. Nuff said.

Mona Lisa (1986, Neil Jordan)
Pity Sammi Davis still blights the whole film with her urchin act. Ruined several films imo. Ho hum.

The krampus

Highly enjoyable Christmas horror story about a young boy that accidentally summons Krampus ( a Christmas demon / anti clause). Funny and a lot more creepy than you would expect, queue evil deformed toys and psychotic gingerbread men. 8/10

Gods of Egypt

It got a right old slating from the critics . but i find myself enjoying its OTT sillyness. If you are a fan of cheap and cheesy 80s fantasy movies you might get some enjoyemet from it. 6.2/10

The witch

Very slow but atmospheric film, which for the most part is more about the break down of a family of settlers in new england than witch craft. .7/10

Off later to see the conjuring 2 and a busy week next week with ghostbusters on monday, star trek Tuesday and The BFG on Friday
