Seed (2006, Uwe Boll)

This charmless maniac. Animal cruelty is always a strong gambit to open with, so I suppose you better have the goods to follow that up. Whether Boll succeeds here is in the eye of the beholder. A barrage of unpleasant imagery can begin to grate if not carefully nuanced enough imo.
Or
Max Seed beats Victor Crowley hands down

A classic 50s B movie once again dealing with creatures mutated to a huge size, this time its ants, watch out for a young Leonard Nimoy in an early role at the 54 minute mark. 8.5/10

Next up The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (2005) this will be first viewing.

I saw it in the cinema and really enjoyed it. But I've no real knowledge of Douglas Adams book or the tv show so maybe that makes a difference.

It really does.

The film is garbage compared to its source material, in my opinion.

Mate requested something that's got no violence in it. Well, it was either Robin Hood (the Disney one) or Innocence (2004, Lucille Hadzihalilovic)

The latter it was then. Sort of springing from the same well as Suspiria, this rather quiet little film still quite captivates me. Like all true art, it asks you questions you don't really want an answer to. Mystifying to the end, this will only grow in stature imho.

I'm putting a D notice on this one btw
