Deadly Daphne's Revenge. 1987.

A young girl Cindy is picked up hitchhiking and raped by one of the four men. When the case goes to court 2 men are guilty, one of the men put a hit on Cindy to silence her only to be told if anything happens to Cindy the men will be thrown in prison for a long time, but who is Daphne and what does she want?

I got no idea if this was a theatrical release film of a made for T.V. movie but we are forced to watch some dull boring actors playing lawyers that seems to drag on on longer than necessary. Big boy red necks that always seem drunk or drinking thinking they are above the law and try to fix a problem they started and a daft twist to the end of a film that became a what's the point in watching it all, decent for background noise but that's it.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)

A nice undemanding and relatively gore free slasher that hit cinemas in the wake of Wes Craven's Scream (1996).

At the time it was an enjoyable watch on the big screen but for me and my mates the 'Holy shit!' moment came as the film began with a gorgeous tracking shot along the North Carolina coastline accompanied by Type O' Negative's cover version of Summer Breeze.

The film never gets any better than that opening for these eyes and ears (Last night i watched it four times in succession) and although the film in itself is pretty unremarkable some of the photography is excellent.

The 88 Films Blu-ray is a revelation in comparison with the old EIV dvd which was shit even when it originally appeared on shelves back in 1999.

Endangered Species. 2002.

A killing machine from another world lands on Earth with plans to kill any human in it's way.

Kevin Tenney who's previous work was mostly horror decided to try and do a science-fiction horror and with this he did try. Eric Roberts and John Rhys-Davies who look into the strange killings. Arnold Voslo plays some sort or Warden tracking the killing being. James Quinn plays the other Detective and seems to have one thing about his acting...always be the smart Alec that comes with sarcasm. By far this is no perfect film but certainly enjoyable enough to watch.

Eyeball. 1975.

A serial killer targets American tourists by gouging out their eyes.

Intrigue, suspense and tension all from Umberto Lenzi that can probably make your own eyes twitch, the pace is never a let down. Was the comedy intentional or unintentional? Either way it makes some light on the film before and after the kills which never seem to be taken seriously by anyone. The police rather look at the minor details of the coach party and not the victims and who is on the party. Still entertaining.

Pieces. 1982.

Teens at a college campus are being targeted by a serial killer who is using their body parts for a jigsaw puzzle.

A young boy doing a puzzle of a naked woman, the mother is a bit upset and the small boys kills her and hacks her...the making of a serial killer for a film, good start. A nice Spanish brutal slasher with a comical guy passing out from what could be bad chop suey, the most comical part in a slasher. Defiantly one of those films it's so bad yet we still find it enjoyable with the kills and naked females, or am I high on coffee again that I enjoyed this film?
