He excels in The Vampire's Night Orgy. He's supposed to be the heroic lead but spends seemingly half the film gazing through a spy hole at Dyanik Zurakowska getting her kit off.

Eyes Behind The Stars. 1978.

A photographer and his model are doing a photo shoot in a forest when they feel they are being watched. When the photos are developed they have captured what seems to be a alien life form.

Franco Garofalo, the guy from Zombie Creeping Flesh and Return Of The Exorcist and Sherry Buchanan from Zombie Holocaust play the happy people who capture a alien on camera. This went from a good start of a film then became like a conspiracy theory movie with it's a fake photo to no it's real we must prove it. Seeing Martin Balsam name appear in the credits did peak my interest till he started talking, they have a American actor in a Italian film only to be dubbed by someone else...shame on them. Towards the end I was loosing interest in this film that it became some background noise.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008)

An enjoyable romantic comedy drama starring Michael Cera and Kat Dennings who meet when Norah asks Nick to pretend to be her boyfriend to get her out of a sticky situation. Over the course of the night they try to find mythical NY indie band Where's Fluffy's secret show and search for Norah's drunken best friend, Caroline (Ari Graynor).

A film that plays out during one night and for the most part works very nicely. It's not what you'd call a laugh out loud comedy but the characters are all pretty much endearing, even the bitchy ex-girlfriend of Cera who he's pining for throughout the night. Most of the laughs and one moment that'll make you wretch come courtesy of Caroline's drunkenness whilst the rest plays out like a will they / won't they love story.

Taking place across Manhattan and Brooklyn the film visits real venues and places and includes some genuine music porn as the camera lovingly pans around the legendary Electric Lady Studios ironically as a real bout of sex is going on.

Primal Rage. 1988.

A scientist at a university in Florida, doing research on dead brain tissue in Baboons creates a virus that gets unleashed.

Think Danny Boyle must have seen this film and it became the inspiration for 28 Days Later but with more gore that we love to see on screen, even though this has it's moments. Umberto Lenzi is credited to being one of the writers who probably thought the audience want to see people suffer at the hands of animals.

This was released when Halloween IV, They Live, Child's Play came out and probably fell under people's radar, 80s low budget cheese fest film so we get bad writing, bad acting same music and background score from other Italian movies and Bo Svenson playing a mad scientist. Ashamed to say this...but I enjoyed it.

I bought the Blu recently from Poundland. Delighted with it. One definitely worth an upgrade at that price. My dvd has entered the charity shop pile.

Have you any idea what that speaker symbol is for on the top right hand side of the menu screen?

You click on it and it shows musical notes then click again and they disappear but nothing appears to actually happen other than that.

I don't sorry and it'll be tomorrow when I get it out of my boxes. Does it maybe turn off the menu noises? Early blu-ray discs were stupid like that, especially the Sony ones.
