I Ask as Keitel just gets dragged off to reappear as a severed head later. Can't see any references online. Nice bit of gore might make up for Keitel's voice being dubbed. Any info?
Yes I gather Saturn Three was cut prior to its release to tone down the violence including Keitel's mutilation. The BBC print should be the same as the UK dvd.It was cut for an 'A' due to the sequence where Fawcett & Douglas take the blue pills but the dvd & earlier videos were uncut at a '15'.I would love to see a restored version.

I loved Battle Beyond The Stars more than ever last night. Not in a "so bad it's good" way, actually in an "I really like this film" way. I don't think it's bad at all.

I know! John Saxon, Sybil Danning and "Seven Samurai" in space! How can that not be good?

I never realised how foxy Darlanne Fluegel was until last night either...

Amazing John Sayles script: "You've never seen a Valkyrie go down..."

And let's not forget the most enjoyable baddies in any sci-fi, led by a great sneering Saxon, tho I would probably give Richard Thomas a slap for his character not noticing Sybil's amazing outfits, that black number is a showstopper.

AMER

Stunning, amazing first 30 minutes. After that, I'm on the fence. Not sure about the middle and end. Will let it settle...
