The films in the Tartan "Killer" boxset are all worth seeing.

Killer Triple - Bundy/Ed Gein/The Hillside Strangler 2000 DVD: Amazon.co.uk: C. Thomas Howell, Steve Railsback, Matthew Bright, Chuck Parello: Film & TV

And Citizen X is magnificent.

I thought Ed Gein was way better than BTK though, and thats only a 4 / 10.

I never buy true life killer films anymore after these two.
There's another Ed Gein film on the Horror channel this week that I haven't seen, I'm guessing it won't be as good as the Steve Railback one from a few years back(although this wasn't fantastic)

watched
Apocalypse Now (with comm), cheer up francis...its the last decent thing you did .
Coraline...like this a lot, it does lessen the books impact, but what film adaptation doesnt??
Incense for the Damned...this film has it all..racism, lovely scenery, a host of familiar faces, a thrilling mule chase...exploitation at its finest
also rewatched AAWIL (with comm) still a joy to behold, even if the comm could contain less agutter worship still cant blame them (sighs)

watched these lovely little films...

Major Payne: Damon Wayans comedy about a hard military Major put in charge of some kids. Alright film for what it is.

Tango & Cash: awesome from start to finish, Stallone and Kurt Russell play of each other really well. Jack Palance is his usual hammy villain character and Brion James does the worst cockney accent ever. Some awesome action scenes too.

Mission Of The Shark: The Saga of U.S.S Indianapolis, a very well made TV movie from 1991 about the sinking of title ship by a japanese sub after delivering the A-Bomb to the enola gay. Stacy Keach is very good as the skipper, Caruso is even watchable and Richard Thomas does his usual. Great little film if you are interested in WW2.

Watched Superstition aka The Witch last night. Great fun with some nice gory deaths. That girl in the dress is fooling nobody!

EVENT HORIZON: Really forgot how good this film really was, it's been at least 6 years since i last saw it, Probably Paul WS Anderson's best film. Great cast, great visual FX and an interesting story.

this is true...after ballsing up AVP, Soldier, RESI EVIL 4 and probably Three Musketeers, i doubt he'll ever make another film as good as this. It probably helps that he didn't write Event Horizon.

I don't get what people see in Event Horizon. I thought it was just terrible. I prefer AvP!
