Yep, that's the one I have with the silver cover.I only have two Henenlotter flicks in my collection, Brain Damage, and the Something Weird DVD of Basket Case.I think they're both probably his best though.

The commentary track on the something weird basket case release is possibly one of the best I have ever heard. Very funny. |

I think many elements of Straw Dogs cross into the horror genre, particularly the whole 'home invasion' aspect, which has been the basis for numerous horror films from The Last House on the Left to Them. As for the new Blade Runner film, I hope it doesn't come to fruition as it will always be compared to Ridley Scott's original film and will undoubtedly come off second best.

watched The Killing last night, i never realised how many films were influenced by this film, The Dark Knight, Reservoir Dogs, Heat.... etc. Sterling Hayden's Performance as Jonny Clay is unbelievable, his talks at such a rapid fire speed but still allows the viewer to understand what he's saying. Tarantino owes Kubrick and Jim Thompson a hell of a lot of credit for his writing style, I thought that the 'dragnet' style would be off putting but it works really really well, my only problem with the film was the almost farcical bar room fight with the wrestler. 10/10
