If you enjoyed it then I highly reccomend RATS: Night of terror. From the same director Bruno Mattai. I have the anchor bay double bill and its probably one of my most watched discs.
I have 2 versions of Hell the AWE edition and the Zombie Creeping Flesh Vipco version. I saw it yrs ago when I wasn't very well and mother brought it up for me fresh from the postman's hands. I was half dead through being ill yet I watched it and really liked it

Watched Looper last night, brilliant film. Excellent performances from both Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon Levitt.

As do most imo.....

Seven Women For Satan (Michel Lemoine, 1974).
Well, I'd put this up with Hatchet For The Honeymoon or TNECOTG in the structural stakes, and great to see Howard V!! What would Arthur have been like with him in the Gieguld role, I wonder??

Rats is such a fun and cheesy movie .

Grave of the Vampire (1972)

This is in Mill Creeks Pure Terror 50 movie pack.

Not the greatest 1970's horror flick but I really enjoyed it but then again I have a soft spot in my heart for Seventies films no matter how bad they are.

It did try to be different but other then the actor who played Croft the vampire the acting is subpar at the least .

The party scene was pretty funny and the movie was kind of brutal for such an old movie.

THE NEST.

nest.jpg

With the image of the semi-naked woman on the cover being attacked by a giant roach I had a fair idea of what I was in for. As soon as the CONCORDE logo came up before the film I started I knew I was correct!

The nest is pure trashy eighties fun. Lots of Gruey and gloopy effects and plenty of deaths. This isnt shakespeare that much is certain, but its not missold in any way and I enjoyed this nasty little slice of insect-based gore movie a hell of a lot. Looks nice on Blu-ray as well.

I really wonder what those people have been snorting, to be honest. Check it out and decide for yourself. The Church is currently working on a review, should be up in a week or so (I hope).

I was terribly disappointed in this. So much wasted potential.

Watched Movie 43 yesterday, that I receieved thanks to the guys at Fetch as part of tomorrow's Innuendo Day event. Before I put it on, I read a few reviews, the majority of which panned it, even so far as to say it was the worst movie of the year, so I went in with very low expectations.
It's a comedy, built up of short films/sketches each directed by somebody different, with different actors eg Hugh Jackman, Richard Gere, Kate Winslet, Emma Stone, Anna Faris etc, and do you know what, it had me laughing quite a few times during it's 90 minute running time, so for me it did exactly what a comedy should. Yeah, it's not gonna win any awards, except maybe a few Razzies, but I enjoyed it all the same, funny, sometimes very funny, rude, crude and featuring one of the most delightful young women to grace our screens over the last few years-Emma Stone, so I can't complain.
I'll leave you with this pic of Hugh Jackman from the opening sketch

Metallicbomb and troggi like this.
