Default Radio Times Doctor Who poll.

What is the best Doctor Who episode from the era of Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi? Vote now!

I voted for -

Series 1 - Bad Wolf / The Parting of the Ways.

Series 2 - The Girl in the Fireplace

Series 3 - Utopia

Series 4 - The Stolen Earth / Journeys End

Specials - The Waters of Mars

Series 5 - Vincent and the Doctor

Series 6 - The Impossible Astronaut / Day of the Moon

Series 7 - The Day of the Doctor

Series 8 - Dark Water / Death in Heaven

Had series 7 just been the actual series i would have voted for Asylum of the Daleks.

Mine are generally the same as yours Dem except.

Series 1- The Empty child/ Doctor Dances
Series 2- Army of ghosts/ Doomsday
Series 5- Amy's choice
Series 8- Mummy on the orient express

In series 7 i was tempted to vote for Cold war which i really like but everyone else hates.
But then realised that series also contained Name and day of the doctor too.

It would have been better if the double episodes were separated. For example i love Army of Ghosts but it's let down by the final third of Doomsday.

Cold War is very good. A lot better than the majority of series 7.

The Stolen Earth is probably my favourite episode since the revival but it's impact is lessened by always having Journey's End follow it up.

RT-D was brilliant at build ups but never gave them great pay off second episodes.

Mine would be:

1. The Unquiet Dead
2. The Girl In The Fireplace
3. Blink
4. Stolen Earth / Journey's End
Specials - The Next Doctor
5. Vincent And The Doctor
6. The Impossible Astronaut / Day Of The Moon
7. Cold War
8. Flatline

The Name / Time / Day trilogy should have been kept seperate. They're all top notch.
