Watched the second episode of season 10 while its never going to be a classic it was a lot better than I was expecting and seems to be great chemistry between Capaldi and Mackie.

Now watching web of fear, with how it started I should of watched enemy of the world first.

Saw Smile last night. I... thought it was quite good, actually. Nothing especially original - The Happiness Patrol meets The Empty Child, basically - but quite solid and entertaining. Capaldi seems far more like the Doctor this season than he's pretty much ever been allowed to before while playing second fiddle to bloody Clara, and Bill is perfectly acceptable too. The season hasn't been amazing "best season evah!" material so far but at the moment it's the best start to a season since 2011, and I am wary but surprised and vaguely optimistic at present.

finished the web of fear another great Troughton story. watched the first two episodes of Torchwood it Ok i suppose but does try a little to hard to be "adult" and different and that seems to work against it and seems a little childish at times, which is strange as the Sarah Jane Adventures which is a childrens program at heart come of more serious and adult
