This news should really hit home and shut up those who seem to think the lifespan of Doctor Who depends on 5-8m viewers in the UK.
agree, people need to wake up and release that the UK is not its main market anymore, some might complain (we know who they are) but in the long run its a goodthing.

watched Sarah Janes first and last storys, The Robot and the Hand of Fear, she really did wear so awful outfits, the dreadful 1920s looking dress in Robot and those Dungarees in hand of fear!

Even for Classic Who the design of the Robot was just awful. but i enjoyed both episodes. Next up The Black Orchid

Sorry, but Sarah-Jane first appeared in 'The Time Warrior' with Jon Pertwee. 'Robot' (without the definite article) was the first Tom Baker story!

Ha'ha, Treb.

I love the robot from Robot. I've always thought it looked terrific. Even got an action figure of it.

Agreed that the CGI is bad but the life size version that's in the first three episodes i love.

Doctor Who episode 'The Pyramid At The End Of The World' to be edited to remove mention of terrorism after Manchester bombing

I'm in two minds about this. As a sign of respect, yes, of course it should be removed, but at the same time, if this is removed, then 'THEY' have won

I also remember that cuts were made to the 'Robot Of Sherwood' episode, and the 'offending' material was not re-inserted in the DVD release, so it is still incomplete
