I thought the shorter series and longer episodes were still just rumour. Nothing official from the BBC IIRC.

I like the idea of four in the TARDIS.

My only worry is that to give them all something to do might be tough in single 50 min stories unless the scripts are either spot on or it's one long story.

In the last series half the time Nardole barely featured and that was only three in the TARDIS.
