Severance

4 episodes in and I'm sold.
Nothing to do with the Dyer film btw.

A man sits in a car park weeping. Well, we've all had Mondays like that, right??
What unfolds when he enters his workplace leaves that From and Midnight Mass and much else that I've watched in the last few years in the dust. Maybe not Chernobyl ....
Ahem.
A few familiar faces pop up now and then, they're not that comforting though ...
I know I'm always so bloody cryptic, but this time it's for a reason. Go in blind (Appletv ...or wherever ) and you'll get the mostest out of it.
It reminds me slightly of a Philip K Dick novel or at the very least one of his core concepts.
I'd write more, but I have to get back to it (9 eps in total).

Finished Severance.

Ahem. Whilst it looks like we are in for the long haul, I'm not complaining this time. A few wobbles aside, recommended.

Been alternating between The Munsters and The Addams family the same but also different with Addams slightly better . What is wrong with all those stupid Americans I would happily live next to either family and be thier friends, maybe there is something wrong with me!

Also watching series 4 of MASH. Watched Ms marvel and all I can say is SHITE! Can see why the likes of the guardian are loving it but it's just shit but with things like this people will say you must be racists etc if you don't like it, NO it's just poor.

But it's only one episode so will continue as it can't get any worse.

The Avengers: The Winged Avenger. Steed and Emma are hot on the trail of a vigilante knocking off ruthless business types in the manner (and costume) of a comic book character. Really fun episode, the drollery of the finale (Steed bashing the villain over the head with large comic book art displaying words like "splat!" and "pow!" is sublime). These look so good on the remastered StudioCanal DVD sets too, showing off how stylish and spiffing the show looked with its beautifully atmospheric lighting and direction. It's been a while, so I'm happy to get back to this show.

I watched the first 4 episodes of Obi Won the other night and im left a little disappointed. It didn't feel very exciting like i had hoped but my main criticism has to be the character of Third Sister as the main villain she has absolutely no presence whatsoever there is no feeling of an sort of threat or authority to the character at all and just comes across as more of a spoilt brat and annoying that anything else. Ewan Mcgregor is good as Obi Won and Vader is always awesome so no complaints there but im just left underwhelmed by it all so far.

PEACEMAKER_Icon_Twitter_Feed_1200x675.jpg

A few months back i watched the newest Suicide Squad and loved it so after hearing that Peacemaker was getting his own show i was over the moon such a fun character made even funnier by that fact it was John Cena.

Following from the events of Suicide Squad Peacemaker is sent to prison but once again he is saved serving more time to take on a new mission to take assassinate some butterflies. The list is all high ranking influential people and Peacemaker is pretty skeptical when his new friends are very sketchy with the details of why he is taking these people out.

The whole show is a blast from start to finish John Cena is hilarious tons of gore great effects and tons of adult humor. An added little bonus to this show was the amount rock / metal in every episode Peacemaker takes every opportunity to blast some Motley Crue Hanoi Rocks Bang Camero and Pretty Boy Floyd just a banging soundtrack.

Every character is funny in their own way but the only one that was a little off was Leota the lady who plays her just isn't a great actor and always feels like she is reading her lines. Apart from Peacemaker the stand out is Robert Patrick who plays Peacemakers father The White Dragon a white supremacist super villain who is a nasty hateful son of a bitch.

Im hoping for a season 2.

Did get to see the first four episodes of The Boys new series as well.
All I will say is that it's shaping up nicely.

Also caught the last Inside No 9. Eeeek! Great series so far.

I haven’t watched the Boys yet, and a couple of episodes of inside no 9, I wasn’t overly keen on.
