The 8 track (64 track virtual) recorder is something I bought myself. I also bought my own guitars, so it hasn't all come free.
I'm too old now to hump around amps and stuff like I did in my younger days (I was always on bass duties and thus had the biggest and heaviest amp ), but have found my niche within the acoustic/folk circuit. I tell you one thing, the acoustic circuit is far more mental and unpredictable than the rock circuit ever was and I've met numerous interesting characters over the past few years. Mind you, the acoustic circuit is becoming very revolutionary and at present there's more interest in it than there ever has been - we're getting bookings all over the place. It's great.
