Time Crimes is a great film. I could watch it over and over again. IMO its not as simple as it first appears. The time travel logic in it is extremly well thought out.

Default Last Film Seen at the Cinema?

Hey hey hey!

Well, since we have a thread on recently watched DVDs and one of recently bought DVDs I thought it's time we acknowledged and said 'hello there!' to Cinema!

So this thread is basically, What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Did you like it? Can you recommend it? Or did you want to gauge your eyes out with the popcorn box? Any film your particularly looking forward too? Do you hate cinema altogether? Share your opinions here!

Tommorow a group of us are all going to be seeing Paranormal Activity which I can't wait for! Hopefully it'll live up to expectations!

Paranormal Activity

I enjoyed it alot (even if I wasnt that scared by it). It builds the tension excellently and uses simple practical effects to deliver the scares. If I belived in the paranormal then Im certain that I wouldnt be sleeping for weeks.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did Iluv

Watched The Bronx Warriors last night for the first time and what can I say? I was blown away! The film was excellent - great story, great action and the gangs were great too! (My fav being the dancing group!) A VERY VERY VERY well made - yet still incredibly fun - film. If you haven't seen it, think The Warriors and your half way there.

I think I'll watch the second one tonight!

I also managed to watch Amicus's The Land That Time Forgot - a very enjoyable British dino film with some very strange moments - eating a dinosaur (never saw that coming!) and asking 'Would you like red or white wine with your Pletheosaurus?!' Hehehe! Nowhere near as good as One Million Years B.C. but still a lot of fun. I luv how all the German's speak English and the woman has some sort of Neanderthal-translating skills!

I'm not into the paranormal either, but Paranormal Activity sure as hell had me questioning what I'd just heard during the night while surrounded by the dark! Lol

Excellent little movie.

The only thing that bothers me about it (Though it doesn't spoil the film for me.) is how did it all start? ****Spoiler Alert******If Hector 2 is the one who attacks Hector 1 and instigates his going back in time to start off with..... why was Hector 2 there in the first place?*****Spoiler End***** I will have to buy a copy of this to watch it again. Maybe I missed something?

Going to see "Paranormal Activity" on Tuesday with the Mrs. Got the babysitter lined up and expecting the wife to cling to me like a limpet clings to rock.

Sadly the last film I watched at the flicks was "2012". Her choice and definitely not my cup of tea, although I did like Woody Harrelson in it.

The beauty of Time Crimes is... you'll never know! Lol

In my own little head, I'm thinking that we may actually pick up way down the line - that could be Hector 999 for all we know! Ha.
