Yeah Lionsgate released it a couple of years ago,it's labeled as a special edition,it's a reworked Renegade version and it includes new effects and omits the scene from the Republic dvd when Macleod and Louise have the shootout with the guards at sheild control at the end of the movie. No idea why they removed it again.

it makes you wonder why studios never release the full cut, it took Ridley Scott nearly 30 years to finaly release his definitive cut of bladerunner.

Going to try to get Into The Mirrors this week to see if the original does any better by the story.
I thought Mirrors kept its atmosphere throughout and thats the one thing Aja is excellent at. And his death scenes of course

Main problem was the script and the ending. If they didnt have the whole demon nun fight then it would have been alright. I still enjoyed it though.

Into the Mirror is very good, much better then remake and again has a a good atmosphere. I prefer the story in the original as the store has reopened so the threat is greater as there is public involved instead of just security people. You should enjoy it.

I agree. To me it's one of the most overrated films of all time.

I watched The Road yesterday.

Thought it was really good.

Something about it really got to me though for some weird reason. The whole of the film just seemed incredibly sad to me for some reason. Left the cinema really depressed.

I watched LAST HOUSE ON THE BEACH tonight.
Rather brutal, but an excellent exploitationer all the same.

Watched the very last Hammer Horror film TO THE DEVIL A DAUGHTER (1976) at the weekend.

The film was great and had a number of interereting ideas. If not for the anti-climatic ending involving Christopher Lee, Richard Widmark and a bit of rock this film could have saved Hammer. Shame really...

Going to watch THE LIVING DEAD AT THE MANCHESTER MORGUE tonight!
