Yeah, quite like it, like to know the story behind it, with a bigger budget he would have really had something there. When I watch it I always think it would be cool if it was 'Dracula' himself Chris Lee. Viewers will know what I mean.

watched a classic film noir from 1942 called This Gun For Hire, was great story of a cold blooded hitman double crossed by an employer and seeking revenge who gets mixed up with a nigh club singer who happens to be the girlfriend of the cop chasing the hitman. Very cool visuals for 1942 and some great performances from Alan Ladd , Veronica Lake and Robert Preston. 4/5

SUBCONSCIOUS CRUELTY - pretentious dialogue, interesting and extreme visuals, blasphemy, gore and some hardcore sex. Yep, just another 'underground' exploitation film.

HALLELUJAH FOR DJANGO - average spaghetti western, no better or worse than a 100 others. Funny, on the english track you could still hear the italian dialogue being spoken underneath the english dub. Aldo Lado was assistant director.

after finishing my frankenstein book, i saw that there was a film called Frankenstein on 5 last night. this is from a chap called Marcus Nispel (Pathfinder, FNM's A Small Victory...oh and some rubbishy remake with the word texas in title) if id known that id have passed. a seven clone visually, this concerns a 200 year old "creature" AND Frankenstein (or Helios as he is known), but wrapped up in bog standard "police chase killer" plot it made me think fondly of the branagh film. and the ending!!! sheesh. Parker Posey and Adam Goldberg did serious faces and Micheal Madsen did Micheal Madsen.

on the other hand i watched Your Highness. i liked this. very crude fantasy spoof, bad "english" accents, but a decent production which bombed unsurprisingly at box office so i hear. if youve seen the trailer, youll get the gist (cor, shocker! trailer tells plot of film ) but theres a very cheeky bit with a wise "man" that had us in stitches.
