Two excellent films there, Pete. Long Weekend as brilliant - it's just so relentless even if the woman is moany is hell!

Watched The Deaths Of Ian Stone last night for the first time. I wasnt really sure what to expect as I really didn't have much knowledge of the film but I was pleasently surprised. A horror film with a rather original concept - plus it's all filmed in London which is especially nice.

Default What films have you seen recently?

HALLOWEEN 2 - haven't seen this in a while, god sequel
HALLOWEEN 3 - ditto, not an official one of course

It's funny in the flashback, you hear Plesance shoot Myers 7 times, but eventually tells police he shot him 6

Though I loved both to begin with, as I have gotten older Halloween II has seemed worse and worse and Halloween III has seemed better and better.

Probably a fine indicator of how my tastes have developed over the decades!

I agree really
H2 is a good slasher, but in no way a classic as the original
H3 is still good and liked the storyline

watched the beeb's print of Amityville2 :the possession. wish it had been uncut. what an odd film. never seen it before as i never really gave a f about the original...sweaty Burt Young and his family move into "that" house, and immedialtely regret it

also watched as much as i could stand of 5's pan and scan Blue Thunder (always prefered it to a certain other helicopter series hahaha) christ whats the point in this day and age i asks you??
