Nice to hear the transfer is going to turn out OK.
It looks great, I could actually make out all the background details like the posters in the foyer ect. And the audience loved it, there were some people who hadn't seen the movie before and the screening felt like the kind of thing you see more in america with the audience cheering and laughing.

Naturally Bobby rhodes as tony the pimp was a big hit!

I watched Weekend Murders last night.

Although Code Red's presentation of the film is very good - remastered picture and crystal clear sound, the film itself is pretty dire. This is not helped by the truly awful dubbed English soundtrack. Why oh why could they not have subbed the original Italian track i will never know.

As for the film itself it was a bloodless, sexless affair based on Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians and is in all aspects a very minor giallo. I would have been better off watching an episode of Midsommer Murders as that is what it felt like to me.

Just finished watching Sorority Babes In The Slimeball Bowl-O Rama. Really enjoyed seeing it after almost 24 years! Some of the acting was terrible, but a naked Michelle Bauer and Brinke Stevens made up for it.

watched RoadGames last night for the first time and was blown away by how suspenseful it was. Kind of like Duel meets Hitchcock and it's pretty much a one man show for Stacy Keach who is brilliant. Great script from Everett De Roch and good support from Jamie Lee Curtis.

Yeah I watched for the first time recently too! As well as the suspense, I was surprised at how funny it was - Stacy Keach and his naff one-liners. Highly entertaining. The Aussie Umbrella dvd release arrived through the letterbox this very morning . . .
