So according to Puqui (A TRUSTWORTHY user on GB who kept the rumours about The Web of Fear and The Enemy of the World alive... and we know they were found) the following is true-

Marco Polo-Found
The Crusade – Found
The Myth Makers – Found
The Daleks Master Plan – 2 or more episodes Found
The Massacre – Found
The Celestial Toymaker – Found
The Savages - Found
The Smugglers- Found
The Tenth Planet – Found
The Power of the Daleks – Found
The Highlanders Found
The Underwater Menace-Found
The Moonbase – Found
The Macra Terror – Found
The Faceless Ones – Found
The Evil of the Daleks –Found
The Abominable Snowmen – Found
The Ice Warriors – Possibly Found
Fury from the Deep – Found
The Wheel in Space – Found
The Space Pirates – Possibly Found

This completes seasons 1,2 and 4.

A year ago I'd have laughed at this but Puqui and a couple of others have been very truthful with discovery of the recent finds and they have no reason to lie.

Correction the information came form his Outpost Skaro account, not his Gallifrey Base account...

But anyway, here's his precise quote-

"Marco - 1 to 7 - Exists and Back
Reign - 4 & 5 - No Info - Found

Crusade - 2 & 4 - No Info - Found

Galaxy 4 - 1, 2 & 3 - Exists and Not Back - See above for season 3
Mission - 1 - No Info
Myth - 1 to 4 - No Info
DMP - 1, 3 & 4 and 6 to 9 - No Info - 11 & 12 - Exists and Not Back.
Massace - 1 to 4 - Exist and Back
Celestial - 1 to 3 - Exist and Not Back
Savages - 1 to 4 - Exist and Not Back

Smugglers 1 to 4 - Exist and Not Back - Season 4, all back
Tenth - 4 - Exist and Not Back
Power - 1 to 6 - Exist and Back
Highlanders - 1 to 4 - Exist and Not Back
Underwater - 1 & 4 - Exist and Not Back
Moonbase - 1 & 3 - Exist and Back
Macra - 1 to 4 - Exist and Back
Faceless - 2, 4 to 6 - No Info
Evil - 1, 3 to 7 - Exist and Not Back

Abominable - 1, 3 to 6 - No Info - Back, 1 episode at least will require extensive restoration but should be ok eventually
Ice - 2 & 3 - No Info - Depends who you listen to, if they are back, found in Australia
Web - 3 - Exist and Not Viable - Exists, nothing wrong with print, wait until Dec, see what happens
Fury - 1 to 6 - Exist and Not Back
Wheel - ep 4 and one other Exist (Do we know which?), 2 Still Missing - All back, 3 from Africa

Invasion - 1 & 4 - Not found
Space Pirates - 1, 3 to 6 - Exist and Not Back - I think so, some don't think they have been found"

I believe this. Marco Polo was mentioned as found a while ago when the news of EOTW and WOF was circulating.

The BBC clearly have to work on their restoration and create dvd special features before they are announced but i would expect another news bulletin before next summer.

Yeah I'd say Marco Polo is the one with the highest chances of being back (I heard they actually found 3 sets of 7 prints. That actually makes sense given it's the most sold 60's episode). I've never listened to the audio but I've heard great things so I'd welcome it with open arms.

EDIT: I heard another bulletin could be coming very soon The BBC want all eyes on the 50th anniversary for now but shortly afterwards more is said to be announced.

Power of the Daleks would be something truly special.

I've said on here plenty of times that i really rate Marco Polo. The audio is superb. I just worry that it won't look as good as i imagine when i listen to it.

Well The Web of Fear WAS the story I wanted back the most, with episode 4 as "my Tenth Planet 4". I always thought it was a dream I would never see with my own eyes. And now that I WILL be seeing my dream become a reality with the DVD release in February, my revised top 10 list is as follows-

1. The Power of the Daleks (it's both a masterpiece AND the mighty Trought's first story)
2. The Macra Terror
3. The Fury From the Deep
4. The Evil of the Daleks (It does seem to drag with the recons and it's inferior to Power... BUT loads of people hated Enemy of the World as a recon and now think that it's BETTER than Web, so I have no doubt I'd end up loving it)
5. The Moonbase
6. The Abominable Snowmen
7. The Tenth Planet
8. Daleks Master Plan
9. The Wheel in Space (am I the the only one who likes this?)
10. The Underwater Menace (likewise, I am one of few who like this)

I've heard rumour that the 'Enemy of the World' DVD (at least) will initially be a vanilla release

That would be a shame. Perhaps Frazer Hines and Debbie Watling have done a commentary. I'd be happy with that.

Until recently I would have laughed at this, but due to recent discoveries and subsequent rumours, I'm very much of an open mind now. Would love to see Fury From The Deep. Hell - I'd love to see ALL of these!

Just received my doctor who series 1-7 blu ray box set but unfortunately some genius in BBC shop's packing dept decided to send the item in a small cardboard box with no inside packaging whatsoever, so perhaps unsurprisingly the cardboard outer case is dented and the series 7 blu-ray case is smashed as the good ole boys at Parcel Farce obviously decided to have a game of 5 a side with my parcel.

The response I got from BBC shop was return the item to us and well send a replacement and reimburse your postage however considering the insurance I will need in order to cover the item, my initial postage outlay will be quite high.

Then begins the wait for the replacement and refund....

It's no wonder most people won't go past Amazon for customer service.
