None of those names particularly inspire, though Hugh Grant was surprisingly credible in the role in the Curse of Fatal Death!

Dan Stevens or Matthew Goode.

Two names i'd like to see get it.

Noooo. Not Rory. That would be awful. Michael Sheen for me.

Still a better choice than hart or Corbin, didnt see Sheen their, so he could be a good doctor as he has that weird doctor vibe already.

I've heard people saying how surprised they are, yet I thought it was obvious the moment Moffat was off. He'll have done 3 years, which is the most any new series Doctor has done, and given his era hasn't really been the most popular anyway, it seemed pretty obvious to me that we'd get a complete fresh start under Chibnall, as well as being a good idea to do so.

Suzewell predicts...

Because we have to keep the American audience happy, and because they have got a downer on 'foreigners' and anything to do with LGBT matters at the moment, the next Doctor will be played by a young, American, pretty-boy male actor

For me, this will be the death toll for the show in the same way that (for some people) a female doctor will be

Remember, future events such as these will affect you in the future. Can you prove that it didn't happen?

That will be April - June then

Unless it has a late time slot, it's the wrong time of the year again. 'Doctor Who' should be broadcast when it is dark outside, with the wind howling around the chimney and the rain lashing down the windows

having just been marathoning series 2-4 on blu-ray I would actually really like that option as I don't think the new series has even been better. They would have to get the companion right though. Didn't Catherine Tate recently say she would be up for a return as well?

IMDB needs to update itself - Tennant was the main villain in the Marvel Jessica Jones series just recently.

Casting an American is not going to happen. More chance of a woman, frankly. As for the timeslot, Who ran in the later part of the year for series 9 and got hammered in the ratings partly because it kept getting shifted to later in the evening because of Strictly Come Dancing. There will be no such conflict earlier in the year.
